Where is a good place to take photos?
An experienced photographer will always say, "There is no wrong place to take photos." Photos can be taken anywhere you choose.
An ideal background should complement the subjects in both color and context. When selecting a location, consider the following: What colors will you be wearing, and how will they blend or contrast with the location? Does the context of your photo align well with this setting? For example, maternity photos are often taken in vast landscapes, while graduation photos are typically captured at the school from which you are graduating.
I am happy to provide suggestions based on past locations where I have taken photos, ensuring that your chosen setting will enhance your photos.
My mission is to exceed your expectations, so giving careful thought to these choices will result in photos that you are most happy with and will cherish forever.
What should I/We wear?
Once you have chosen your location, it's good to take some time imagining what your attire would look like in that setting. Pinterest has lots of ideas for color panels for outfits that look great together without being identical. It's important that your comfortable in what your wearing.
When will we get our photos?
You will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within 14 business days (sometimes less, depending on the season I photograph your story). You can download all the photos from the gallery, share them, choose your favorites, and order prints! If you choose the option to have your photos on a jump drive mailed, expect to have that within 14 business days from when your online gallery is published.
How many pictures will we receive?
I guarantee the photos as stated in the package descriptions, if there's lots of great photos in excess of the promised amount, I will always include those, fully edited, at no additional charge.
How much for each additional person?
The $10 fee per additional person/child applies only to the Family package and will be charged for any package that includes a set number of persons.
What should I bring to the photo shoot?
If an object is important to you or your loved ones, please bring it along and we will photograph you with it. Examples are, but not limited to: Blanket, Stuffed animals, Toys, Instruments, Sports equipment.
Props like balloons, garlands, confetti are always welcomed and will be incorporated in your photo session per your direction.
- Photo Packages: All packages include downloadable photos in a password-protected gallery. You can also request a USB flash drive with your photos at no extra charge, which will be mailed within 14 business days of your digital gallery's publication.
- Location: Sessions can be held at any location within the El Paso area. For locations outside El Paso, such as Mesilla, Las Cruces, or White Sands, additional travel charges will apply, starting at $150. These charges will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
- Print Release: Upon request, you will receive a print release; however, your photos will not have branding, allowing you to print them anywhere you choose.
- Deposit: A $75 deposit is required at booking to reserve your session. This deposit is non-refundable if the session is canceled.
- Payment Methods: Accepted payment methods include Zelle, Venmo, and Apple Pay. On the day of the session, you can pay using any of these methods, as well as Visa and Mastercard credit/debit cards, or cash.
